Beginnings

Well, here is the start of our blog, telling you a little about our building process and living here in Central Oregon - on the dry side!

This is our landscaping - in progress! We are trying to learn which plants the deer don't like, but they seem to want to at least sample EVERYTHING! We'll be putting in some sort of a fence this spring for the vegetable garden in the back of the house, and eventually something in the front so we can have a yard - of sorts.
This shows you why we need a fence in the front. I like that Abby has some friends, but they do make a mess of "her" lawn.More to come...............
